Orange County Bail Bonds
Orange County has three Jail facilities: Orange County Main Jail in Santa Ana, Theo Lacy in the city of Orange, and James Musick in Irvine. All defendants taken into custody are initially booked into the Orange County Main Jail in Santa Ana. The booking process typically takes between 3 and 7 hours during which time the defendants photo and fingerprints are taken. They will also run the defendants name and social security number for any outstanding warrants in other counties and states. After this process is complete we are able to post bail and have the defendant released. The release process typically takes between 3 and 6 hours. All defendants arrested in Orange County will be taken to the Orange County Jail UNLESS THEY ARE ARRESTED BY THESE CITY POLICE DEPARTMENTS:
Defendants arrested by these city police will be taken to the local city jail prior to their first court appearance. In most cases, a bail bond can be posted at this facility and the defendant will be released promptly. If bail is not posted, they will be sent to court and eventually transferred to the Orange County Jail in Santa Ana. Contact us for more information. |
